Angel Caballero
Executive Director Davidson Community Center, Inc.  Angel has held the role of Executive Director for 43 years and under his leadership, Davidson Community Center continues to be of great importance to the community. He has been focused on the development of a thriving commercial district for more than 10 years. Angel has hosted several Summer Walk events on Burnside Avenue and made himself a source and advocate for the merchants in the district.

BJT President

Jessica Betancourt, from Miami, overcame challenges to establish two successful optical practices in New York. She values family, faith, and community contributions, aiming to expand her business and provide free glasses in the Dominican Republic. Her story showcases resilience, hard work, and seizing opportunities.

 

Clifford Whaley 

BJT Vice President

Clifford Whaley, a barber with 32 years of experience, owns "This Is It—Barbershop" in The Bronx, NY.

Clifford and his skilled team focus on quality, customer service, and community engagement to redefine the barbershop experience in NYC.

Ubaldo Santos

BJT Member

Ubaldo, an entrepreneur since 1984, founded businesses in various sectors and expanded to nine locations in the Bronx and Manhattan. He established a merchant's association, served on the community board, and continues to advocate for Bronx businesses.
